Terms of Agreement
Mass Ocean Planning is dedicated to implementing comprehensive, science-based planning to ensure long-term protection and sustainable use of ocean resources, and to site priorities and standards for ensuring effective stewardship of the state’s ocean waters held in trust for the benefit of the public.
In order to submit comment to the Public Input Portal for Mass Ocean Planning, you must agree to the following terms of service. You understand that all information which you may have access to as part of, or through your use of, the Services are the sole responsibility of the person from which such content originated. All such information is referred to below as the “Content”.
Although Mass Ocean Planning does not have any obligation to monitor this Content, we reserve the right at all times to delete any Content that is unlawful, libelous, defamatory, vulgar, abusive, indecent or otherwise objectionable to us in our sole discretion and to disclose any information necessary to satisfy the law, regulation or government request. You understand that by reading comments, you may be exposed to Content you may find objectionable. No attacks on individuals or institutions shall be permitted. We also reserve the right to permanently ban any user who violates these terms and conditions.
You agree to indemnify and hold Mass Ocean Planning and its affiliates and their respective, officers, directors and employees harmless from any claims, damages, losses or costs (including reasonable attorney’s fees) that arise out of any of your postings and any Content created, contained therein or transmitted, including, without limitation, any material posted or otherwise provided by you that infringes any copyright, trademark, intellectual property right of any person or defames any person or violates any person’s rights of publicity or privacy
You should be aware that Content presented to you may be protected by intellectual property rights which are owned by the sponsors who provide the Content. You may not modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute or create derivative works based on this Content (either in whole or in part) unless you have been specifically told that you may do so by the owners of that Content.
