| UrbanRiver
Visions is a project designed to capitalize on the potential
of the river as a focal point for revitalizing
underutilized and environmentally-degraded riverfront
sites in Massachusetts' urban centers. Planning
sessions in each community help those communities develop
vision plans and action steps to reconnect downtowns with
their rivers. By restoring the riparian environment, these
places are able to provide improved
habitat, recreational and economic development opportunities.
